The Lienz mountaincable cars support you in your ascent. The panorama cable car takes you to the Zettersfeld, where you can go on a leisurely high-altitude hike or set off on a summit tour of the Schleinitz (2,905 m). The Hochstein area, which can be reached by chairlift in summer, is an ideal family hiking area. Petting zoo and adventure playground keep your little ones happy here.
Climbers and mountaineers will find a variety of tours of all levels of difficulty, various climbing areas are available in the Lienz Dolomites. There are more than 30 three-thousand-meter peaks to be climbed in the holiday region.
Everywhere in the Lienz Dolomites you will find cozy alpine huts, where it is worth stopping and where you will be provided with typical East Tyrolean specialties.
Explorations in the largest national park in Central Europe lead you through great landscapes with diverse flora and fauna.
