The Toboggan run on the Hochstein is fun for the whole family. The chair lift takes you up the mountain and then ypu can take your sled downhill through the snowy winter forest. You have to master 2,500 m in length and 275 meters in altitude. The toboggan run is also open in the evening twice a week. So what do you do with the toboggan? Our Recommendations would be Kals am Großglockner (Moaralm), the Hochpustertal (Leckfeldalm), the Defereggental (Alpe Stalle) or the Virgental (Würfele hut). Cross-generational fun for everyone is included.
Go on a search for traces in the snow - snowshoe hiking is a very special nature experience! Hike the untouched nature on snowshoes and experience winter with all your senses. Snowshoes can be rented in Lienz.
Lienz attracts with two ice rinks: a natural ice rink and an artificial ice rink that invite you to ice skate. As soon as the ice is thick enough, young and old can glide over the Tristacher See. The artificial ice rink is right in town, and ice skates can be rented on site.
